Preliminary Feedback Is In!
So, preliminary feedback on Entwined in starting to trickle in from ARC readers. I KNEW this story would be a mixed bag of WTF Harper, LOL. The premise is a little more hmm, raunchy than previous installments but hey, when I get an idea in my head I run with it. That's the beauty of writing. An idea pops into my head and rather than me worrying about how it might be deemed offensive or disgusting or too much, I just roll with it. Everyone has their definition of erotica. In my version, it's always about the chemistry between the main characters because just like in real life, chemistry determines what makes the sex hot as hell. If there's no connection it's just wet body parts being shoved into orifices (romantic image, right? LOL)
I've already come to terms with the fact that Entwined and the next installment of the Kinky Connect Chronicles will likely turn off a sect of my readership. They'll bypass the stories because threesomes and gay romance just aren't their thing. That's cool! I swearrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cool. I never got into this author gig to make money. I started writing stories because I wanted to see a different kind of romance represented. People who have kinky streaks finding love... in unique ways. Diverse couples finding love because mainstream contemporary romance doesn't focus on diversity or kink.
Honestly, I'm just grateful to my ARC readers for having the guts to tell me whether they love or hate something I write. They tell me how it is, always. This time around, a lot of new people are reading my work and for the first time since I published The Sweetest Taboo, I'm a bit anxious. Excited as holy hell but also a wee bit anxious.
A few months back when I released Renewed, Shurrn of the Smutsonian (where are you Shurrn? I miss you) asked me where did I see the Kinky Connect Chronicles series going.
I don't see this as a series lasting a very long time, but I do see it as a series that will introduce fetishes and types of sex people may not be used to reading. Because why not? WHYYYYYY NOTTTTTTT?
So, if you've pre-order Entwined, or you're waiting for release day to purchase it, I can't wait to read your thoughts. If you love it or hate it, drop me a line. Send me an email if you're not the reviewing type. I'd love to know what you thought. Authors ALWAYS want to know what readers think. Always.
Oh, and if you're wondering when the heck my next full-length novel will be released.
*in my Jon Snow voice * Winter is coming...
My NaNoWriMo project is to get that behemoth done.

Goodreads Glitch! Boooo Hissss!
Holy good geez was I PISSED to see my reviews and ratings frozen in time!
The number of people who've read Entwined isn't syncing with the number reviews/ratings left. Apparently, Goodreads is having a glitch issue with accuracy when it comes to displaying ratings and reviews for many books. The problem surfaced on Sunday, and they're still working on it. It makes an author want to cry because you're totally thinking, "NO ONE IS READING MY BOOOOOKKKKSSSS!" :(
Well, I'm releasing a book tomorrow, not the best time for Goodreads to go apeshit, but fortunately, I can see the reviews some of my ARC readers have left even though some of you may have trouble viewing the information. In any case, please continue to rate and or review books you've read even if you don't see your rating/review. Authors appreciate it more than you know. The good and the bad! Feedback is essential for us all.
I'm SO excited for release day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was freaked the hell out because I had no idea how people would receive this novelette, but I'm truly happy most enjoyed Gabby and Jake! LoL, I have a bunch of freaky readers! I love you guys hehe. #teammenagereadersunite
Thank you for your support. It means the world to me.
There's still time to make sure you get your copy of Entwined. #shamelesspromo

A New Release Is On The Horizon!
I WROTE THE END! HOLY FRIGGIN' FRACK!!!!
My first draft for my next release is DONE. Once I read through it one last time, I can send it to my beta readers, and my editor and then the real work begins.
My plan is to stagger releases.
My next release titled Complexity will be my first foray into Gay Erotica/Erotic Romance. It will be the fourth installment in the Kinky Connect Chronicles. Also, it will probably be the only installment in the KCC series for the remainder of 2016. It's a standalone, with no cliffhangers as usual! This book is longer than previous episodes. Currently, I'm at the 100-page mark, but with edits that can indeed change. My editor loves to make me flesh out details. The price will fall between $1.99-$2.99 depending on the final word count. I always price my books to equate with word count. I won't provide a release date until final edits are at least 70% done. I know that I don't intend to write another thing for the remainder of March. I NEED A BREAK!
The release following Complexity will go back to the M/F dynamic. This will also be a full-length novel. It's a SWEET read people. LOL, yes Harper can do sweet without the sexy times. ;-)
In other news, my very first in-person author appearance is in TWO WEEKS! If you're close enough to New Jersey, come on out to the Liberty State Fiction Writers Conference! There will be workshops for readers and authors. Editors and agents will also be in attendance.
I'll be participating in two panels, one titled In Loving Color: Diversity in Romance. And the other titled: Lights Camera Action: Photoshoot to Cover Design. Both workshops will feature my cover artist, Taria Reed! Should be an exciting time.
I'd love to meet you and see your lovely faces! If you're interested in attending, you can find all the information here including prices for the festivities: Liberty State Fiction Writers Conference. If you miss this appearance, I'll be in Atlantic City in June. I will be sure to update you all as the date draws near.
Can't wait to show you what else I have up my sleeve for 2016! As always, I thank you for your patience and continued support!
xoxo
