Wendy Knuth thought that zombies were getting a bad rap. What's more likely, a human apocalypse or a zombie apocalypse? Well, now there is a kinder, gentler zombie family. These zombies don't like blood, but they love tomato juice! Thanks to Wendy, now you can see things from the zombie's perspective.

After playing video games with her children, Wendy Knuth was inspired to write books about zombies for kids. She hopes that humans of every age will enjoy reading these books as much as she loves writing them. Wendy is happily married to an old, bald guy, and they live in Arizona, where they continue to raise their two zoners.

This led me to come up with a zombie nerd, a teenage zombie fashionista, a zombie baby, and a dirty little boy zombie who loves camping. I had a lot of fun developing these characters, and definitely pulled from my experiences as a parent. It took me quite some time to find an illustrator who I felt could interpret my vision and put it on the page. I am very pleased with the result!(less)

In Memoriam: My Brother

Karl Wahlberg, Wendy Wahlberg, Martha Wahlberg

I am so sad to announce the passing of my brother, Karl Wahlberg.  4-17-1968 to 4-26-2022.

He was my childhood partner in crime, mad genius, excelled in Karate, taught me some good-to-know fighting skills, and probably saved my life a time or two.

My fav pic of us! Karl Wahlberg & Wendy Wahlberg circa 1975

Karl grew up in San Diego and graduated f
