Jim C. Wilson is a lover of great books and great games. He grew up in rural Queensland, Australia and joined the military the weekend after turning 18. Never one to look back, Jim served in the Royal Australian Navy for over ten years before returning to civilian life. He works a day job as a Biomedical Engineer and by night reads and writes science fiction. His passions include roleplaying games and he runs a hobby designing for Audio Samurai Games.

Jim draws inspiration for his stories from his own experiences of life at sea, something akin to spending time drifting between the stars, and readers will sense this authentic style of storytelling in his books.
