Sedonia Guillone wanted to be an author since the age of six when she first volunteered in the school library and the librarian had to put a limit on how many times she checked out her favorite books. Then at sixteen, a short story she wrote won honorable mention in a contest by the League of American Pen Women and there was no stopping her. Since then, her first M/M mystery/suspense, His Beautiful Samurai, was nominated for a Gaylactic Spectrum Award and has been required reading in a college gay and lesbian literature course. Her M/M romance, Men of Tokyo: Sudden Bliss won a Rainbow Awards honorable mention in the Conteporary category and her historical romance, Lady of Two Lairds was a finalist for The Romance Studio's Cupid and Psyche A ...more

For a long time I thought it was strange for a woman to write a gay romance between two men but after I wrote Kiss of the Werewolves, there was a character, Danny, Meg's best friend, who had a story to tell. Since m/m was getting very popular at the time, i though, hey why don't i try it? I wrote Danny's Dragon, and after that, I was hooked! On a deeper level, however, I suspect it has been growing up with a gay father and seeing that his main relationship was just as full of problems as straight relationships that I am creating relationships between people who are more mature and work things out, unlike they did in real life. I guess you can say it's a cathartic process.(less)

“The one thing we can never get enough of is love. And the one thing we never give enough of is love.”
Henry Miller

“Gods tender mercies are over all His creatures.”
Psalm 145 9

“Compassion is the feeling of sympathy which the pain of one being awakens in another; and the higher and more human the beings are, the more keenly attuned they are to re-echo the note of suffering, which, like a voice from heaven, penetrates the heart, bringing all creatures a proof of their kinship in the universal God. And as for man, whose function it is to show respect and love for God's universe and all its creatures, his heart has been created so tender that it feels with the whole organic world . . .mourning even for fading flowers; so that, if nothing else, the very nature of his heart must teach him that he is required above everything to feel himself the brother of all beings, and to recognize the claim of all beings to his love and his beneficence.
Horeb, Chapter 17, Verse 125”
Pirkei Avot

“As God is merciful, so you also be merciful. As he loves and cares for all His creatures and His children and are related to Him, because He is their Father, so you also love all His creatures as your brethren. Let their joys be your joys, and their sorrows yours. Love them and with every power which God gives you, work for their welfare and benefit, because they are the children of your God, because they are your brothers and sisters.”
Pirkei Avot

“When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”
Jiddu Krishnamurti

Rob Rosen Sedonia, hi. Hope all is well. Since we’re Goodreads friends, I thought I’d share my latest novel, Midlife Crisis, with you.

"Rob Rosen does madcap gay humor better than anyone else writing today. Midlife Crisis is no exception." - Neil Plakcy, author of The Mahu Investigations

I hope you can pick up a copy. As a special thanks for your time, feel free to message me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/therobrosen) for a free PDF copy of any of my other 9 novels, which you can find here: http://www.therobrosen.com

All the best,

Rob Rosen
