I was born in the fine year of 1971 in Park Ridge, IL. I am a life long Chicago resident and I love the city. I spent a few years in St. Louis, as well. I knew I wanted to write from the time I sat down at my mom's electric typewriter in the 3rd grade. Now I do write. I write freelance and articles for online news sources. I write horror, thrillers and detective novels. I also write non-fiction in true crime and history genres. I publish my fiction myself as an indie publisher and write and have found an audience for my work among ebook fans. I publish for Kindle, Nook and other tablets and devices at Smashwords.com. My non-fiction is usually published in print, but that may soon change as ebooks become more and more of the norm. ...more

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I just make the time. I do have a full time job in marketing and write for a company. However, I make time during lunches, in the morning before work. It's hard and overwhelming at times, but I love writing so much I just force myself to find time. If I just write 300 words or get 1,000 words - advance the story.(less)

If a story sputters out on me, I almost always have another story that is stronger and ready to go inside my brain, so I can just switch. You can't be afraid to just abandon a story and move on to something else.(less)

New horror mystery thriller novella out now!

If you are looking for a slow-boiling mystery horror thriller then my newly published novella - The Cut-Through - is out today.

Synopsis:

A young girl vanishes while running home from school. Just ahead of her are two friends. The cut-through path is short, fences along each side, nowhere to hide. Despite this, there is not trace of her. Two detectives are assigned the case, but from the start nothi Read more of this blog post »
