My journey began living in a basement apartment with no TV and no internet. After talking with my friend and fellow indie author, Bree Lynne Potter, I started a story to keep myself from boredom. Shortly after I started, my characters came to life and I became hungry to know what happens to them. I fell in love with my characters and they soon became a part of me.

Mira Day is a Contemporary Romance/Fiction writer, born in the Carolinas with a passion for food. She loves the outdoors, NFL football and exclamation points! You'll usually find her working, writing or catching up with Friends on Netflix. Her debut novel, Playing House, published in Sept. 2015.

She is currently working on a suspense novel due out mid-2017.

Sometimes reading and thinking of someone else's artistic perspective can really push your brain to do amazing things. (less)

“Start telling the stories that only you can tell, because there’ll always be better writers than you and there’ll always be smarter writers than you. There will always be people who are much better at doing this or doing that — but you are the only you.”
