First Friday In June 2016.
So today - the first Friday in June.
Judging by the calendar the temperature should be warming up now for summer - but no.
Well, not yet!
Today we have a high of 14 degrees C - although it's supposed to reach the rather heady figure of 24 degrees on Sunday!
I can see the words 'cider' and 'garden' being used - for the first time this year haha.
These are figures which pale into insignificance somewhat when compared to the middle/high 40's which Arizona is down for this weekend.
Bullhead City, in the far west of the state, can expect 49 degrees C tomorrow (120 F) - which is not so unusual for a town that's hit 52 in the past.
The read through of the 'over-used words' in Book 4 is ticking along nicely. Especially as I've spent 4 days away from it in the last 9 visiting my mother. 2 of the days were planned and 2 weren't.........
I've decided to let Dave have the book to proofread in our absence - whether or not I've totally completed my input into it. Something which should save a lot of time on our return.........
Then its down to writing Book 5 - which will either be a follow up to Book 3 (Wagon Mound to Santa Fe............) or a totally new project.
Which one of the two will all depend on a conversation I'm hoping to have in Tucson AZ during our visit there.
Personally I'm hoping it'll be the new project and #AlexSawicki and his adventures can be re-visited at a later date.
Just remains to wish you a great weekend.
Keep well & stay safe!
Cheers..................

The exciting journey of a new author.
Hi.
Thanks for stopping by & reading.
I'm not going to make any rash promises about updating this with daily posts, but I'll try to make it more frequent than once a week!

Within in these blogs enteries I'm going to post updates on my writing/editing process as it develops.
Hopefully it will of interest to someone. Especially a person who's considering making the transition themselves from reader to author.
Have a good day! ...more
