Here we go - the first post of the New Year.

First off I'd like to wish you, and & your families, a very healthy, happy and peaceful 2017.
May it be a good year for all......

I admit to being rather lax with moving forward with the publishing of Book 4 since before Christmas.
The lovely Laura at LLPix has already produced the cover artwork - so the delay's all down to me.
In my defense I've been doing a considerable amount of thinking - as well as eating plenty of chocolate - about the 5th book.
Do I tread the obvious (easier) path - and make it a follow up to Book 3 'Wagon Mound to Santa Fe'?
Or, I could open up a whole new story line - with new characters and set the tale in a different part of the US.

So...I've made the decision.
As it's the first day of a New Year why not go the whole 9 yards & make some wholesale changes?
Book 5 will entail going back to the drawing board and beginning from scratch.
New characters, each requiring their own unique personalities with new adventures & trials for them to face.
The other reason behind this decision is I'm hoping to take this eventually completed, edited, novel and tout it around as many 'traditional' publishers as I can.
I'm fully prepared for the letters/mails of rejection which will no doubt follow - but it's something I need to try at least once during this writing journey of mine.
If not it'll be forever another one of those 'What ifs' which I'll end up having to live with.
