I started a few days writing an original short story for my Crime/Thriller series with Jeff Case. It has 7,954 words, but it isn't even done yet and it hasn't been edited so it will change. I hope to finish up with about 8,000-10,000 words. It will be a free giveaway to sign up on my website www.mikeslavinauthor.com Right now an early version of the opening of Kill Crime is there, but the book has changed (got better).

Also close to getting my first Crime/Thriller published, Kill Crime-final edits and working on a cover with a designer now.
