G'Day, Everyone, I have so far written the first 43,749 words ofmy new novel, entitled 'Isabella Warrior Queen. This is historical fiction following on from 'A Castle of Doomsday' and telling the complete story of King Edward II and his wife, Isabella and their children. Isabella's grandson went on to become the famous 'Black Prince', while her son, Edward III took over the throne of England after the abdicatiion of his father, Edward II. Something that readers may find intersting, is that during the 14th century, which was when this happened, Isabella and Edward II had a surprising 'open marriage'! That was made necessary by Edward II having constant affairs with his male 'favourites'. That sort of thing is completely acceptable these days, but not so in the14 century, when many people including church clergy went out of their ways to give a hard time to homosexual males!
