Christopher, Running
Hello!
I’ve been really pleased with the response so far to Christopher, Running. I’ve had two press features and some lovely reviews, but I still don’t feel it has reached far enough. I really want it to find its readers and I just know that they’re out there…

Lil feature in Shropshire MagazineIt took me 20 years of digging to find this story and I truly believe it’s a good one! It’s the first book I ever wrote, and took lots of pulling apart and putting back together to reach its final form (Read more about the process in this post.) So, if you love nature and art, if you love the eccentric ways of Fenland villages, if you love tales of loyalty and love, if you love tales of people finding themselves, then I think you’ll love Christopher, Running.
But don’t just take my word for it. Here are some of the lovely things that readers have been saying so far…
“Brilliant, haunting and gripping”
“Magical, with a real sense of place, rootedness and belonging. It speaks of how past events make us who we are and mark out our lives.”
“A poignant, heartbreaking story… heartfelt, beautifully written”
“An extraordinary achievement”
“The prose is as luminous and lucid as the changing light and reflections in the wild and open Fen landscapes”
“A beautiful novel. Truly compelling”
“Haunting and poetic”
‘Quick, where’s the link? I need to buy it now,’ I can hear you whisper. Look no further…
And lastly, if you have read it and enjoyed it, please let me know! I absolutely love hearing from my readers! And also… please leave me a review on Amazon or GoodReads (or both). Reviews really make a huge difference to potential readers.
Wishing you a joyous and restful Christmas season, and thanks again for all of your support.
Liz
