A long overdue update
It’s been a while!
First of all, let me apologise. It has been a long time since I’ve written… There has been a lot going on behind the scenes and I’ve started a full-time PGCE too which has been filling my head with things other than writing. I had hoped to make a good start on Murmuration 2 - I even hoped I might finish it by Christmas at one point. But, alas, it was not to be. I think I need a writing retreat as there doesn’t seem to be enough room in my brain for stories as well as everything else at the moment! Having said that, Murmuration 2 is planned out and I have written 30,000 words so only another 40,000 ish to go!

I’m hopeful that it will be ready by next summer..
Anyway, I love and really miss writing Miners and I love drawing out thoughts about creatives and why creativity feels like such an awful obsession. It endlessly fascinates me, but at the moment, I just don’t have the headspace, so it is on the backburner while I concentrate on learning how to be a teacher. Today, as with so many other days, I wish there were three of me to be able to do everything that I want to do.
So you’ll have to bear with me for a while, but I will be back sporadically as time allows.
But without further ado, let me introduce to you my Christmas Gift Guide! (AKA Why you should buy all of my books!)
