World's End

Neruda's posthumous work in World's End speaks with authority and grace. It is a lyrical and political statement that should not be ignored. I love how he interfaces his own humanity, that he can control, with the larger brutalities of the 20th century, which also affect him, though are beyond his control. I carry this book with me a lot. Always good to remind myself of a master poet's rendering.
