Interestingly, there were thunderstorms near where I lived today, too. Lovely, aren't they?

Oh, you're in Oregon? I lived in Beaverton from 1990 - 1993 and just loved the place - I loved the rain, the fog, the green ... *sigh* What a lovely state...
*laugh* I grew up in Montana, living in the extreme eastern part of the state, as well as stays in Bozeman, Helena, Ennis and Dillon; then there was Beaverton, and then into North Dakota - Dickinson and Fargo. From there it was Minnesota - St. Louis Park, Plymouth, Eden Prairie and then back to STP (all Minneapolis suburbs) and finally down here to Georgia - so I know all about the feet-wheel phenomenon! I've been here 10 1/2 years and am itchy to find a new place, but my husband isn't big on the moving thing, so here we sit. :-) I'm glad you're near your family - mine is still in Montana and my husband's is in upstate New York - a long ways.
