My Sunday Read

My weekend read is Fredric Brown's Edgar-winning The Fabulous Clipjoint about murder, carnies, and private eyes. I hope yours is as good. Here's the Wikipedia entry for the author who led an interesting life and career:

Randy Though I haven't read all of his works, THE FABULOUS CLIPJOINT is my favorite.

It looks as if this story is going in a direction I hadn't expected. I guess I've been reading so much noirish stuff and seeing the word "clipjoint" in the title would make it darker. Still a very fine book, so far. Thanks for the comment, Randy.
