My work-in-progress is a crime novel titled OUTSIDE THE WIRE, and I've been working on it throughout the summer. But now we've moved into September, and the summer is almost finished. So, I'm at that point where it's time to run OUTSIDE THE WIRE off on my creaky Samsung printer. I put off doing the print out because the replacement toner cartridges are so darn expensive, for one thing.
Still, I find I better print out any new manuscript to paper anywhere from 2-3 times. For reasons I don't understand, a novel looks different on paper than it does on an ebook screen. One bugaboo I have from my own reading of so many ebooks lately is all of the typos and grammatical errors that creep into the text. So, I'll be giving OUTSIDE THE WIRE a close look for typos and bad grammar.
So, that's the task I'll be tackling over the next few days. Keep your readerly eye out for OUTSIDE THE WIRE some time next year.
