In the late 1980s my parents bought a shop in a village outside of Dover in Kent.
At first it was a normal property. But after a while all that soon changed.
I kept seeing a figure disappear near the private entrance to the flat. When any of us went to check no one was there. Then I kept seeing the same figure disappearing into a wall round the other side of the shop. When this kept happening my parents made enquiries and discovered that there use to be a door in the wall which had been bricked up.

I have had a number of experiences like this throughout my life. They are still happening today.
One thing I have learnt is they are nothing to be afraid of. Ok you can feel scared initially, but I have never met a spirit that wants to cause harm.
This woman was a previous owner of the shop and I do believe she wanted to keep an eye on what was going on. As far as she was concerned it was still her business.
I think a lot of cases like this are echoes of the past. Someone who lived somewhere is still attached to the property.
I have experienced deceased loved ones not only in the property where they were living at the time of their passing, but in subsequent properties I have moved to.
The reason for this?
Quite simply I think it is because they want to show those they left behind they are all right. And of course they are checking to make sure these people are all right as well.
One of the reasons I wrote the book was to show people that events like this can happen to anyone at anytime and as I said they are nothing to be afraid of.
If you experience anything like this keep an open mind. After the initial shock know there is nothing to be scared of. The deceased person has a reason for being there and it may or may not involve you. But whatever the case know they won't harm you in anyway.
