This article made me laugh because I agree with you that that many many parents around the world can relate to this :)! I have a few stories that go along with the whole cookie story....and it is funny catching them because they really think they can get away with it since they don't know the evidence is on their face :)! With that said, I read your book and I agree that it is a great book to read to children before having a talk/lecture with them because the book gets them into a great mood and it opens their mind up to the topic and really they learn the lesson from the book so having that talk after the book would be simple.

Thank you for taking part in my post. As a parent sometimes it is hard to punish a kid when they do something small like sneak a cookie because they do it in a way that is cute/funny. With that said, it is important to teach them that even a small lie is not ok and that following rules in life is very important. It is always best to do what is right.
