Then, Manpreet’s parents took her to home. Everything seemed different. It was not home for her anymore without Manpreet. She was feeling alone. She was suffered from loneliness. Manpreet’s Parents behavior was normal for few days but then they started blaming her as if she had killed their son.  They should help her to come out of this trauma but they were making conditions worst for her. As she had few fights with them regarding this, they said her to left their home. But where could she go? They were only people she knew in this damn world. They said her to leave their home and go away from them.

She was feeling most lonely in the whole world. She was feeling like she should also suicide and went away from them and everyone forever. But before doing anything like this, she decided to meet her parents once. It was her own decision to never meet them but now she was self-broking it. She thought about it zillion times and decided to visit them once at least.

So, on the day of her fight with Manpreet’s parents she packed her clothes (she had only those clothes which she once brought from her own home) andtook her savings with her. Her face was dull and full of sorrows. One could easily guess tears in her eyes. She was unmarried even after marriage. Manpreet never touched her to complete his physical needs. Their love was so pure. But, what could be done, one who has to gone had gone. She took auto for Patiala station and reached there. Then she bored train to Ludhiana. She was visiting Ludhiana after about 2 years. Everything seemed changed. She was full of mixed emotions. She just wanted to saw her parents for once and died in their arms only if they will allow her to come in their arms. As usual train took about 3 hours to reach Ludhiana. She put her feet in city where she spent her almost all life. In these two years, everything was changed. She found everything changed or may be everything was same but she was changed.  She again took auto to her home thank god, she still remember the address of her home. She stopped the auto one street before her home, paid auto fair and got down of it. She thought again about if she wanted to do this or not. Yes! She was impatiently waiting to see them for once at least. She slowly moved towards her home. Each increasing step towards her home was making her heart beat fast even faster.  She was unaware of the fact that whether her parents will ever accept her or not? Will they even recognize her or not? Whether they would like to talk to her or not? Lot of emotions were surrounded her mind. She was slowly and slowly moving towards her home.

But as she reached her home, she found that her house was locked from outside with a giant lock full of dust. It seemed like it was put there centuries ago. She pressed the doorbell of their neighbor’s house.  A fat aunty opened the gate and loudly said “Radhika beta!! Come in” Radhika quietly entered her home. She asked aunty about her parents. First she was amazed that Radhika didn’t know about them but she informed Radhika that “After you went to foreign, they died in a car accident. They were hit by a fast moving truck. Even there was no one to give last light to their corpses so pundit ji gave it.”

Radhika was crying loudly. She was crying hard. Her last wish to saw her parents remained in her heart. She was on knees on ground. She was thinking that she did so much worse act that even her parents could not tell to people. So they lied them that she went to foreign. She was sorry to them for everything. Now, again she found herself alone in the whole world.

A part of her still wanted to believe that all that had happened was just a nightmare but unfortunately she was not sleeping. She had to believe this hard truth of life.

She thanked her aunty and said ‘good bye’ to her. Then she moved out of her home. Everything had gone. She was all alone in this materialistic world. She also wanted to die. The only thing stopped her was that she didn’t want to be another Manpreet. She was not coward like him. She didn’t want to run away from complications of life. She wanted to face them all. She wanted to live. She decided to dedicate this life to waheguru (god). She repeated waheguru-waheguru-waheguru few times in her mind and decided to go ‘Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple), Amritsar’ and spent her whole life there. As she passed few streets and went on main road, she was still in the grief, thinking about Manpreet, about her parents. She was crying from inside. She hadn’t even handled the grief of losing Manpreet but now her parents. She was getting mad at herself. She was yelling herself for everything. It was dark outside. It was about 11 p.m. she checked on both sides of road. There were not many vehicles but traffic was moving fast. She was crossing the road. Suddenly, a fast moving car hit her.

I saw that” I interrupted doctor. It was 3 a.m. in night. He was telling me story right from the evening and we didn’t even bother to look at time. I don’t know why there were tears in our eyes. May be it was respect to the brave lady or we were feeling bad for her. But, one thing was sure it’s life, it has to move on. He engulf full water bottle down his throat and brought new one from refrigerator for me, I too did same with the new one drank it in one go. He asked me for dinner. I refused. I just wanted to know about the lady. I asked him “Where is she now?”

“She didn’t tell me.” he said. “Okay” I responded. Then we both went to sleep. I spent that night in doctor’s house. Next day, I woke up at 11 a.m. Doctor was sleeping till then. I got ready, woke him up and said him ‘Good bye’. Then I took auto to bus-stand. While I was sitting in auto I received a call from my father. He told me that someone had put 20,000 back in his account. He seemed happy. I disconnected his call.

Then, I reached bus-stand to take bus to Patiala (My University). But, there happened another strange thing. There was bus to Amritsar standing in front of my eyes. I don’t know what happened to me. I found myself sitting in that bus. It was again long journey of about 4 hours. After reaching Amritsar, I directly went to ‘Harminder Sahib (Golden temple). It was awesome place. There was a unique environment inside it complete silence. The aura of place was totally different. I spent one hour wondering here and there. Then, I went to Langar Hall (where free food is provided to everyone visiting there). I took utensils for food. Then, I saw a young lady having bandages at head putting chapattis in my plate. I again looked at her. She seemed calm and happy. I didn’t take even a single second to recognize that she was Radhika.

I wanted to talk to her but didn’t want to hurt her by upbringing the topic of her past. So, I let it go. I felt good after seeing her happy. I came back from there.

THE END.
