The rough, rough draft of "Barely Home", the sequel to "Barely Retired" is now complete. I am beginning the process of rewriting the story, and hope to have it somewhat close to its final form sometime in July.

The completion of the rough, rough draft is important because it tells me that the story of Carter and Connie Sykes will contimue. The hard part, dreaming up and imagining the story, is over. Rewriting the story is much easier than writing it the first time, no matter how many revisions are needed.

I am working with a graphic artist on the cover design as well. We are bouncing around some ideas, and I hope to have a cover ready to release by the time the rewrite is complete.
