Our GDP has been and will stay in stagnation until we are pulled out of the quicksand we buried ourselves in. WHO’S to blame? We are all to blame. The Democrats blame the Republicans and vice versa. Our country has the slowest recovery over the past six years of any of the other two previous recoveries. From 2011 till 2014 our economy grew 2% from a forecast of 2.3% generating an enormous cut into our standard of living. Unemployment is down, but is not a true picture. We have more people out of work TODAY than anytime in the history of this country. WHY? We have too many people living off the government and not paying any taxes, thus putting a burden on the country’s budget. Let’s not forget the large corporations not paying their share. Corporate America has filtered thousands of jobs to foreign markets. Government spending is in outer space and climbing everyday. But, of course our political leaders are waddling around doing nothing to correct the problems facing our nation. In fact, they are on recess as I type this. Near ZERO interest generated some interest to boost our economy but only a few took advantage. Now we have banks and credit card companies trying to increase profits by offering zero interest and less than 20% down on home buying. Here we go again. GREED is the common denominator that weakens our country. Wake up America before we are faced with a situation we can’t ever pull ourselves out of. Remember, Lawyers are not financial advisers. Get the lawyers out of Washington.
