Manifesting in the Physical World

I’m writing this because a dear friend asked me to, as it is something I was discussing with her this morning.

For a long time I never understood why it’s recommended to write down your goals. Matter of fact, I never came across the idea until I started working in the “white collared” professional world. When it was time for yearly reviews, we would receive a form to complete asking us what our goals were, old ones we’ve completed and new ones for the coming year. Of course these were related to the work you were doing for the company. How can you better yourself for you and for them? Where do you see yourself in five years? Heck, I didn’t know! I was young and didn’t know where I was going to be in five minutes, let alone five years. I can’t even tell you how much I dreaded filling out those forms.

It wasn’t until many years (and lessons) later that I finally understand the concept behind writing down my goals. Of course our work goals and personal goals may not be in sync with each other. I certainly know that mine are not at this point in time in my life. My life goal is different from my work goal, and I am writing it down to help to pull it from the spiritual world into the physical world.

What do I mean by that? Look around you. Every item you see, feel or touch was once a thought in someone’s head. A movie you watched, a book you read, the light you turn on, the car you drive, the clothes you wear… everything. Someone had an idea to make or invent that item that you are now using. In order to watch the movie, someone wrote a script, the writer wrote the book, electrician had written plans, same as the car maker, and the clothes designer. Every single one of them had a thought and wrote it down. And that is how you do it!

Take your wonderful ideas and help pull them from the spiritual world where they are already manifested by writing them down on paper. That brings the idea into a physical form of being. You can make it as detailed or as simple as you want. For example, you can write down, “I want a raise,” or change it into, “I want a 6% raise in April, 2016.”

Make sure to put some action behind those written words. You, of course, want to do the best job possible and write down your accomplishments to show you deserve the raise you are requesting. Good deeds don’t always go unnoticed, but still, it’s always a good idea to back up those requests with positive action on your part.

Make sure whatever you ask for is for the greater good. Don’t step on anyone’s toes to get what you want. For example, don't ask for someone to divorce his wife because you want him for your husband. Ask for the equivalent or better. If you feel that asking for what you want is too hard, then rethink it. If it is right it should be easy, if it is hard then it’s not meant for you at this moment in time. Michael Losier has a great book and audio CD called, “The Law of Attraction.” He suggests if you don’t know what you want, then draw vertical a line down the middle of a sheet of paper. On one side make a list of what you don’t want then on the other write down it’s opposite. He has a great way of explaining things. You can also find videos of him on youtube.com. Happy Manifesting!
