Or stumbled across an older book and wondered why more people weren't reading it? That's what inspired The Librarian's Husband's Book Club (LHBC). This is a place for readers who believe that a great book is a great book, whether it came out last week or ten years ago. Some stories deserve a second chance. Others deserve to be discovered from the very beginning. We think there's room for both. Each month, we read two books together. Our **Archive Pick** shines a light on books that have been out for at least a year, giving forgotten favorites, hidden gems, and modern classics another moment to be appreciated. Alongside it, our New Release introduces us to fresh stories and new voices that are shaping today's literary world. Every reading cycle begins with a theme. Members nominate books, vote for the final selections, and join the conversation as we read together. There's no pressure to finish on a schedule or have the "right" opinion. The best discussions come from different perspectives, and every reader brings something valuable to the table. Whether your shelves are filled with fantasy, mystery, thrillers, romance, science fiction, horror, historical fiction, nonfiction, or a little bit of everything, you'll find people here who simply enjoy talking about books. And despite the name, you don't have to be a librarian, married to one, or even know one. If you love discovering stories, sharing recommendations, and being part of a welcoming reading community, you'll fit right in. Welcome to "The Librarian's Husband's Book Club.
