[close] This is a Social Book Reading Club to help INTROVERTS mingle. We read books, watch the show/movie based on the book, and cook any interesting dishes from the book. We have a set schedule to finish our books, biweekly online check-ins, and culminate each book with in-person meetups.

[close] I love a great mystery az much as I love to cook. The genre of foodie mysteries was an a-ha moment for me. The group is still in its beginning stages, and physically meets in the Fox Valley just outside of Chicago. Here we have a chance to share our love of books with each other and hopefully let our group flourish!

[close] This is a place to discuss the works of author Kathleen Flinn, the author of "The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry," "The Kitchen Counter Cooking School" and "Burnt Toast Makes You Sing Good" (all Viking/Penguin). Swap recipes, get exclusive unpublished recipes, ask questions, get tips for visiting Paris, discuss the food memoir genre, writing tips, whatever suits your fancy. Plus, learn about events to meet up with Kathleen in person.

[close] A culinary book club based in Chicago. ' NOTE: We accept requests to join only if you live within the Chicagoland area as we meet live. We meet monthly to discuss a book and have a bite. We also plan food-related activities as time and interest permit.
