[close] Welcome to the Henderson Libraries new online book club! We read foodie books, pair them with recipes, and then chat about them. For our inaugural year, we will read a new book every other month, alternating between fiction and memoir/non-fiction. Discussions will open 2 weeks after a new book is announced. [close] This group is for people who love food, like gardening, and enjoy a healthy enviroment. Like to have fun. And have a great sense of humor. For example: Dinosaur (the groups name) is a play on words in relationship to the Dinah Shore Cookbook~A few too many yesterdays ago, people would come into a bookshop asking for the Dinah Shore Cookbook and leaving with the Dinosaur Cookbook! 😆 Just kidding but often the close pronunciation did create quite the momentary state of confusion.

[close] A democratic bookclub in which we vote monthly on the book of the month, and mods can suggest bonus books, and a community for getting to know each other, making friends, and sharing food. We hold discussions on the first Saturday of every month. Add ItsNinaMyDude#4608 on discord for access to the community.

[close] A culinary book club based in Chicago. ' NOTE: We accept requests to join only if you live within the Chicagoland area as we meet live. We meet monthly to discuss a book and have a bite. We also plan food-related activities as time and interest permit.
