[close] Please join us as we read and discuss Kassia Wedekind and Christy Thompson's book, Hands Down, Speak Out. This space will be used as a forum to share any thoughts we have in between our Last-Sunday-of-the-Month Zoom meetings. We will read one chapter each month and use the Hands Down, Speak Out Study Guide as our framework. This book club is supported by the authors, Kassia & Christy, who may even pop into one of our Zoom meetings! [close] This is a book club implemented for the use of educators looking for a place to have meaningful discussion on a leisure read book. It is so common for us to get hooked into force reading books we need to teach that we rarely take the time to enjoy reading for fun and discussing those fun novels with others. So, here's to progressing to a new standard where teachers take the time to read for themselves and not for others.
