[close] The first Thursday of every month, crafters who read and readers who craft get together to discuss what they've been reading and creating. Read a book from the month's topic, or just read what you like!

[close] A community meeting place to share books and ideas about traditional hand crafts and the human and community-building benefits of practicing traditional hand crafts in our modern time.

[close] We are book-loving sewists, sharing knowledge and inspiration through sewing books. To begin, we will choose a sewing theme. Each group member chooses a book related to the topic. This will hopefully keep us all from going mad purchasing new books! We will each post a review of the book and, hopefully, give a new technique or project a try. There is no time limit for contributing comments/projects. Grab a book and let's get sewing!
