Did you want books where the reader already knows the character is dead to begin with?

Those are the ones I was concerned about. People have added books like The Lovely Bones, where it is no secret or spoiler that the MC is dead. The author tells us that in the first sentence. Did you want those books removed? There are already tons of lists with dead/ghost main characters. If this list is for books where the reader only finds out later on as a plot twist, they don't belong.

You're right. This list should be for books where the reader finds out later that a character has been dead along.

I'll remove The Lovely Bones. Please let me know if there are others.

I also removed Hereafter, Forget Me Not, and Once Dead, Twice Shy. The blurbs all mention the main characters being dead.
