These authors have yet to make it to 'superstardom' in the literary world, though that doesn't make them any less of a star.
This is a short list of the One's to Watch who are on there way. I hope you enjoy their work as much as I have.

A.couple authors on the list have hit stardom Kevin Hearne and Mary Higgins Clark and John Grisham and C.S. Lewis
Please help me remember the title of this book! The basic premise of the book is an elderly white woman that befriends her black hair dresser and asks the hair dresser to drive her north for a funeral. Along the way, the elderly womans story unfolds while the hairdresser drives and shares her hopes and fears for her own family and relationships. The cover is a picture of the formally dressed torso's of a young white teen girl, and a young black teen boy. GREAT book, but I can't recall the darn title!!!!

Never read the book, but by typing this phrase into Google (elderly white woman that befriends her black hair dresser) Calling Me Home Came up as first thing.) I love Google.
Rage of the Phoenix. Elizabeth N Harris. Fantastic new book by a new Indie author. Seriously a good read. Can't wait for the second book to come out

Red Sugar, No More by Sijdah HussainLoved the book by a little known self-pub author from the first line.
The author resides in a developing country and thus published via amazon. her country doesnt even have proper pub houses. no agents nothing and her work is exquisite. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I have the paperback version since it has images and I know by personal experience that kindle is very kinds to illustrations and formatting. Do check it out: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DSS82MP
