How to tell a haunted house is coming out Jan of 2023 not Spring of 2023 so not sure why it's on the list.

Go ahead and delete it if you can. If you can't, I'm sure a Library will come along eventually and help us out. A lot of these lists need to be cleaned up already, multiple editions of some books have been added because some readers are not using the "search" to find and add books.

I added it. The prompts this year are badly worded. What is the point of a "spring" and second half of the year split. I presumed that "spring" was code for first half. Otherwise what are people south of the equator supposed to do when "spring" is in the second half of the year?

I agree completely - whomever wrote this year's categories was absolutely not considering our Southern Hemisphere readers - they should have stuck with "first/second half" OR "spring/fall" not this mishmash
It's fine with me if people want to interpret this to be "first half of 2023" - just add a note when you add the book.
I live somewhere that doesn't use the four seasons. What months are Spring? If May 2023 counts, The Sun and the Star by Rick Riordan comes out on 2 May?

In the Northern Hemisphere, that's the second half of March plus April, May, and beginning of June, with the Summer Solstice June marking the start of summer. Some people just call March, April, and May "Spring." And of course in the Southern Hemisphere, that's September, October, and November, with December marking the start of summer.
Where do you live that doesn't note the Equinoxes and Solstices?
