Deleted The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms since S&L has read it already.

I think these books should be on the science fiction list: Boneshaker
Doomsday Book
To Your Scattered Bodies Go
Dies the Fire
Chung Kuo: The Middle Kingdom
Lady of Devices
For Love of Mother-Not

Thanks.
I may have accidentally added a second instance of Eyes of the Dragon by Steven King to the list. I missed it earlier in the top 100, so now we have an extra at around 171 on the list. Also, Leviathan Wakes is one of the books tied for 140 in fantasy. It's already over on the science fiction list.

Thanks for posting the note.
I didn't see the duplicate of Stephen King's The Eye of the Dragon on the list but I did remove Leviathan Wakes since it is on the Science Fiction list.
Please check the S&L read shelf before adding a book.http://www.goodreads.com/group/booksh...
I removed "Eye of the World", "The Windup Girl", and "The Lies of Locke Lamora" since the book club has already read these books.
Aren't Door Into Summer and Feed science fiction? Can someone delete that extra Shoeless Joe with no cover?
I don't know if anyone still refers to this list, but I removed Assassin's Apprentice and The Hobbit because the group has read them.
I'd say Alif the Unseen is more a laser pick and it has been read - should be removed. Ready Player One laser rather than fantasy perhaps.
Full list of read books on this list thanks to some quick python are:A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)
The Eye of the World (Wheel of Time, #1)
Alif the Unseen
Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy, #1)
Promise of Blood (The Powder Mage, #1)
The Blade Itself (The First Law, #1)
Ready Player One
The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1)
The Goblin Emperor
Elantris (Elantris, #1)

I read, Assassin's Apprentice, The Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fears, and The Blade Itself, those were great reads.. I'll have to read the others one day too..
Help me understand how this works. I added The Shadow Of What Was Lost. Does this effectively nominate this as a group read? Do votes determine what is read next?
Uhh, I know that people aren't the same, and the there's always someone who thinks they could've made a better list, and I am a pretty mellow person who doesn't like to argue. However, where in the name of God is "The Wheel of Time" series. It is the definition of swords and lasers. Half of the book is detailed (painfully detailed) description of swordplay, complete with poetic and suggestive names for sword moves that kind of give you a vague idea of what it looks like (see BlackLance's Last Strike, sth sth waterfall, sth kisses the roses, sth's descent etc.) and the other half of the book is people blasting all sorts of lasers at each other. C'mon people, get it together. A specific type of laser is even a critical plotpoint, and a lot of the most important confrontations are basically duels.

Previously read books are deleted.
The Last Wish was read 'recently'...Also

A Game of Thrones
City of Stairs
The Golem and the Jinni
The Blade Itself (alt pick)
Tigana - still unread by me :(
Promise of Blood
The Magicians

A Darker Shade of Magic
The Fifth Season (alt pick)

Was just updating my own lists, and stumbled over this.
