Listopia > 100 Noteworthy Genre, YA, MG & Children's Books
READ THIS BEFORE ADDING ANYTHING. Once again, the New York Times has published their annual list of 100 NOTABLE BOOKS that ignores genre fiction (like Fantasy, SF, Urban Fantasy, Horror, Romance), YA (with the sole exception of PURE), Middle Grade (MG), and Children's Books. So, let's make our own literary list out of these neglected categories.
REQUIREMENTS: ADD BOOKS THAT YOU THINK ARE EXCEPTIONALLY WRITTEN WITHIN THE CATEGORIES OF GENRE FICTION, YA, MG, AND CHILDREN'S. **NO** ADULT NONFICTION, POETRY, OR MAINSTREAM FICTION, BUT FEEL FREE TO INCLUDE MAINSTREAM FICTION THAT IS YA, MG, OR CHILDREN'S.
A book that made you think hard or changed your mind about a controversial subject, a book that delved deeply into human nature, a book that asked difficult questions about morality, or that has the most astonishing prose you've ever read -- all of these are examples of good qualifiers.
ONLY INCLUDE BOOKS PUBLISHED BETWEEN NOVEMBER 2011 AND NOVEMBER 2012.
*DO NOT ADD YOUR OWN BOOK.* This is a list for readers to post books they think are amazing to, not for authors to use for self-promotion.

Posted some starters. Have a cold today, so coming up with my own additions to the list may take a while.
