This is the ultimate list of Polish books which have been published in English, all genres, fiction and non-fiction. Please don't add anything that doesn't belong here.
Please also make sure you add the English edition of the book, rather than the Polish one! Thanks
Please do not add Kosiński! He wrote his books in English, so they were never translated from Polish. The same goes for Joseph Conrad (although no one has been adding him). Karski is there as an exception as his manuscript was translated from Polish and the first publication was in English. The new Penguin edition features a chapter which was added by him in 2000s and written in Polish for the Polish edition and translated to English. So that's why he stays.

I am deleting the Manuscript Found in Saragossa. This was originally published in French. Please don't re-add.

Had to delete them YET AGAIN.
Found quite a few more after a friend sent me a pic of a Books from Poland ad on the Tube and I looked at the website: https://instytutksiazki.pl/en/polish-...Will try and add them later.
ETA: Done. Except for the further Witcher sequels and the Korczak as there are a few of his on here already.

There are quite a lot of English translations in the bibliography of Miłosz's History of Polish Literature which aren't on here yet, some not on GR at all yet (from the sections 'General Surveys and Anthologies', 'Nineteenth Century Romanticism, Positivism', & 'From 1918 Until Today'). Slowly getting these added.
(Am not including the translations from Latin to English of Długosz & Sarbiewski.)

I used Instytut ksiazki when I first created this list. Obviously the catalogue has grown since :))
I've added "Russian Year" by Ksawery Pruszynski and it's kind of a funny story here. It's been translated from Polish and published in English in 1944. When trying to have it published in Poland in 1989, it turned out the Polish manuscript was nowhere to be found and so it was translated back to Polish. Arguably my favourite background story :)

Looking for books translated from Polish to English written by women authors seems to be daunting. Apparently Olga Tokarczuk is the only woman Polish author out there worth reading?
