There are lots of ways that people have thought up over the course of our history about how everything may come to an end. Some are outlandish and laughable while others are reasonable enough to make us lose sleep.

This list is a record of ideas based on the world coming to an end as a result of a threat from reckless Science, Chemistry and Technology.

We have learned to accept technology in the time from the start of the Industrial Revolution, making use of it to build a large and sophisticated society for ourselves. Still, there is mistrust there. What if the way we make use of science will eventually become a detriment to our lives and a disaster for our civilization?
