No not exactly and to be honest I felt bad adding that one. It took me several tries to get through that book because of the terrible starting chapters with the starving dog and woman chained to the bed (Stephen King Horror). Whew I don't even want to go there now. Anyways I love dog books so I sort of took over your list adding many, hope you don't mind!

I was unable to add Gray Friars Bobby about the little terrier who became famous as it went everyday to lie on its masters grave.

Does anyone remember a book that was written about a dachshund whose owner moved to Paris and their adventures and experiences--I think it is an older book, like from the 50's or 60's but I just cannot remember the name--hoping some fellow doggy lovers might know. Thanks

Hello! I need help finding a dog book, it's about an immortal dog who's trying to find his owner again, so they can be reunited and he can protect him from a mysterious antagonist who intends to harm him. It must've been released this year, because I saw it in mid-June and (unfortunately) tried to remember it for next time, only to forget the title. It's a good sized book, about 400 pages, beautiful brown cover that I'm pretty sure is metallic. A chocolate brown lab with vibrant blue eyes is on the cover. I believe the dog is around 200 years old and his owner is the one who granted him his immortality. From what I read, the dog was very wise and thoughtful. I would appreciate any help that comes my way! Thank you!

Looks like I have only read 46 books on the first 100. however, I do own a dozen of other ones but haven't read yet. How many have others read in this first 100? I will have to look further down the list when i have time.
