Mmmm. I am still in doubt whether to vote on which soundtrack I like best, or which book...

Ah yes! They are all by SJ Tucker, you can listen to them online: Quartered: Songs of Palimpsest, Solace and Sorrow for In the City of Coin and Spice, and For The Girl In The Garden for In the Night Garden.I hope other books get added as well, I find this a great idea for a list!
Added String Bridge, even though it's only coming out in November, but I really liked the song the author sings on the book trailer, and there's a complete soundtrack coming out together with the book as well.
Does the soundtrack from the movie count?
Added The Da Da De Da Da Code, the first hardback edition of which came with a CD bound into the back endpaper; music selected by the author and relating to the book.
David Byrne used SoundCloud to host a soundtrack that goes with How Music Works. https://www.mixcloud.com/Todomundo/st...
