This is a list of books with bodice rippers and regency elements, freely named love beyond reason.

These books are not everyone's cup of tea, because the protagonists' emotions often culminate/short-out in intense violence scenes(goaded risk-aware/non-consensual BDSM elements(for brats =))).
But they don't include cheating and multiple lovers by h&H. It does not matter, whether these romances are historical, contemporary, fantasy, paranormal or otherwise.

Often these books are labeled a roller-coaster-ride, have a hate and love theme, are full of misunderstandings, contain tense, afraid and angsty moments between the couple. The story arc keeps the reader in suspense, laughing at the banter/fighting/resisting of the couple's chemistry with occasional passionate discharges of the sexual tension. The hero and the heroine fight/dance/prowl each other every courting step. h&H have their own quirks(oftentimes one of it is pride), are possessive and jealous. The hero is frequently portrayed as very reasonable and calm, in an environment filled with his responsibilities with the trust of others in him, but loses his head over the heroine. They are unable to recognize the other's, acknowledge their own feelings, which makes it all the more interesting for the reader. The arc ends with a Happily Ever After.
