I have already read The Poet X so if it does not win I highly suggest you looking into it at a later date . Elizabeth Acevedo is a slam poet and this is a story in verse about a young girl growing up in Brooklyn. Both the written and audiobook are excellent
I've already read The Death of Mrs. Westaway, so I won't join you if that's the monthly choice, but I think you'll enjoy it! P.S. Poet X was awesome and I found March really interesting too (though I read it a long time ago).

I've already read The Death of Mrs. Westaway, so I won't be joining you if that book is chosen. I really enjoyed all of Ruth Ware's books. March by Geraldine Brooks looks good. I will be interested in the final pick.
