I voted for STARS IN MY POCKET. I've been wanting to read Delaney for years, but he's dense and difficult. Perhaps if I had some friends reading it with me, I'd be able to get through it!

I've voted for Hero. Author Perry Moore passed away very recently. Since I've had the book for a while but not read it, now is the time.
I'm not gonna lie, HERO is a pretty good book. I read it awhile ago. I was sad to hear of Moore's death. It's a shame, not only because any death is a tragedy but also because this means no sequel! The movie, from what I hear, is still in the works, though.
I've read Hero and loved it and would like to reread it in tribute to and honor of Perry Moore. I've read Delany and Matthew's right, he doesn't usually write easily, so a group read of one of his novels would be great!
I voted for "Hero." Sounds like an interesting premise.
So I ended up not voting for either of my nominations ... one because I have now read it, the other because of Kernos's informative review. I went for 'The Coming Storm' instead. 'Hero' would be my second choice, the Delany third.
It looks like Hero has a significant lead so far. I didn't realize the author passed away...so young.

"The Coming Storm" and one of Russell's other novels "War Against the Animals" are both excellent.
Oh darn, the winner isn't available for Kindle? Or any ebook format that I can find. Sad Kindle addict...
