How do you deal with writer’s block?

Karrie Roman I walk away and do something else for a while. There is nothing more frustrating than sitting in front of a computer, fingers on the keyboard and absolutely nothing is coming out. I listen to some music, watch a movie, do some housework, have a drink, anything to take my mind of what I'm working on and I find that, more often than not, the characters sneak back in and start telling the story again.
