What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Laura Perry That's a tough one, since my life has been fairly ordinary in most regards. Maybe all those items that have been lost over the years... that one red mitten, the favorite piece of jewelry that disappeared, the special book that went missing... I can see having them as the crux of a fantasy story in which there are other beings that steal human belongings, but only ones with great sentimental value, and then feed off the emotional energy in those items.
