My inspiration for Jaguar Sky came from a trip to Belize. I explored the Maya sacred sites and began imagining the characters running around the temple ruins. I guess you could say the site itself became a character for me.
As for my non-fiction books, they have grown out of my spiritual practice. I guess my driving force with all of them has been pretty much the same: I couldn't find the book I wanted out there, so I felt compelled to write it myself.
