What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Patricia E. Walker I am not at all sure whether to be glad I have no mystery in my life or not. Like everyone else I have regrets about something I did or did not do, but no mystery. However, there is a mystery of sorts, though not attached to myself. For as long as I can remember there has been rumours in my family about my paternal grandmother who was shunned by her husband's family, but unfortunately no one has every actually come out and said what this mystery is. I have tried tracing her antecedents, but regettably, the records office in Dublin which would have housed details of birth etc. suffered fire damage years ago and the dates pertinent to my grandmother are no longer available. However, it is tempting to work a story around it, but it would out of necessity be pure conjecture and make believe, especially as no member of my paternal family are no longer.

All I can say is, 'Watch this space'! You never know, I may just write something.
