What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Rob Sargeant Four years ago, one evening, my cat disappeared into the shrubs on the hill behind our home. It didn't return like usual before I went to bed. A couple of days passed. There was still no sign of her. I started to worry. I thought an eagle from one of the tall trees across the river might've swooped down and taken her. A year went by before we saw her again. By chance I spotted her outside the youth hostel at the end of the road. She looked a little mangy but other than that was in good shape. The quests must've been taking care of her. What happened to my cat during that year it was away? This would be an interesting plot for a book.
