Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Rob Sargeant I would have to say that Bill and Josella from The Day of the Triffids are my favorite fictional couple. The tragic events that brought them together and the struggles they faced trying to survive in a post apocalyptic world resonated with me. The sense of hopelessness and vulnerability I felt when I read it for the first time in high school was still as real when I read it again just a couple of years ago. After The Asteroid, my latest book, evokes some of the same emotions.
