The creative side of me gets to be expressed in my books. It's wonderful to make up these characters and storylines especially when it is something you can't do, like time travel.
I think writing a beautiful line in your books still impresses me greatly. When you read it back to yourself and say, 'That's a beautiful way to say something,' you feel a great sense of accomplishment.
