Goodreads asked Teagan Oliver:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Teagan Oliver Write. Write. Write. I know this is common, but the more you do it, the more your natural voice comes out in the writing. It's that voice that draws people to your books and your stories. And don't give up. I wrote for 12 years before I received my first contract for a book. That was Obsidian. I wrote it while I had two small children and was working the 3-11 shift at a grocery store so I could be with them and take care of them. It was never easy to find time to write, but it helped my motherly sanity. :)
