What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Walter Stoffel I have self-published one book and am 70,000 words into a second. I work hard and with emotion. I am not a quick study. A reader Facebooked me and said it was "obvious" I'd "put my heart and soul" into my first book. That is the greatest vindication for the creative effort made that I could have ever hoped for. If you can put words down on a piece of paper and, after picking it up and reading it, another person is impacted--that's what it is all about.
