Ok, I have to ask because I'm dying to know. I just finished "High As the Heavens" and absolutely loved it. In the beginning of the book, I thought wow, two things remind me of my favorite series, Outlander, the Scottish Simon and La Dame Blanche. Because of this I pictured Jamie the entire read as Simon. I then noticed you had read Outlander. Maybe you were also picturing Jamie or perhaps it was just me (haha)?

Kate Breslin LOL! Purely coincidence, Whitney, but then again...maybe it was subconscious?? I read Outlander many years ago, and will admit to LOVING Scottish heroes best, especially those Highlanders! Some of my favorites are characters from authors Diana Gabaldon, Julie Garwood, Tanya Anne Crosby, Arnette Lamb and a few others. I'm so glad you had a great mental picture of Simon throughout the story. :-) Blessings!
