How do you deal with writer’s block?

Marissa Slaven Often, but not always, exercise helps. I find walking, jogging or running on a treadmill good because I don't have to pay too much attention to what I am doing (just enough so that I don't fall and embarrass myself at the gym). I can't always figure out what to write if I am looking at it head on but by exercising I can sometimes catch a glimpse of what I want to write out of the corner of my eye.
