Goodreads asked Rachel Tremblay:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rachel Tremblay I resolve any blocks I have by journal brainstorming / streaming consciousness writing. It kind of winds up the process for me. Then when I sit down to work on my novel, I release the crank and let spill whatever comes through. Knowing it's not the final version strips the process from any fear and permits me to just write. I don't look back until I'm done. Then I edit my brains out.
